VBS 2017

VBS 2017 is in the books, and it was a great week. This year, as Galactic Starveyors, we searched the visible to discover the invisible. We learned that God created the world and it was good, then sin entered the world and messed everything up, but God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to be our Savior.

We averaged 175 kids in attendance at VBS each day, and 90 leaders. We saw 9 professions of faith, and several steps of faith.

Our mission project was to raise money to send orphans to Camp Hope in Zambia Africa in conjunction with Every Orphan’s Hope. During the week of VBS, $1552.85 was raised and will send 38 orphans to camp.

A huge thank you to Preston Ridge Baptist Church for supporting Vacation Bible School. Thank you to the 100+ leaders that gave of their time and talents to make VBS a reality. Thank you to those who donated supplies and food to the event, and to those who supported VBS through prayer. Also, thank you to the families that participated in VBS. It truly was an amazing week.
