• Andrew Bell

    Andrew and Janet joined Preston Ridge Church in 2001. Andrew accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord in September of 1989 at a revival at Richardson East Baptist Church in Richardson. He was ordained as a deacon at Preston Ridge Church in January of 2008. He and Janet currently serve in both the Student and Children's Ministries. Previously, they have co-led adult classes. Andrew has a Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas. He and his wife are partners with Andrew’s sister in a small Industrial supply company in McKinney called TIMSCO International.

  • ray deaton

    Ray is married to Jennifer Weinkam Deaton and they have five adult children, son, Jake Deaton and his wife, Haley, daughters, Amaris & Cami Deaton and sons, Griffin & Mitchell Weinkam. Ray grew up in Dallas, Texas where he attended church and grade school at First Baptist Church/Academy. Ray graduated from Texas A&M University and is a partner and the EVP/COO at a global commercial real estate insurance agency, Commercial Insurance Solutions of Dallas, TX. Ray and his family have been part of Preston Ridge since 1996. In addition to current role as Elder, Ray has served as Deacon, Finance Committee Chairman and NEXT initiative leader. Ray has a passion for serving and helping others and has participated in mission trips both domestically and internationally.

  • Rob Paton

    Rob Paton and his wife Cristi were married in 2004 and joined Preston Ridge shortly

    thereafter. They have 2 college-age children (Ellie and Luke).

    Rob and Cristi have led Youth Life Groups over the years from ages 3-18, and currently the Middle & High School Student Ministry. Rob has served as a Deacon and as Finance Committee Chairman prior to becoming an Elder in early 2026.

    Rob has an Engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati and a MBA from the University of Texas. He is a Distribution Manager at Frito-Lay/PepsiCo, where he has worked since 1991.

  • greg thompson

    Greg and his wife, Aimee, have two young adult sons, Nathan and Justin. Greg and Aimee joined Preston Ridge Church in 1999 and have continued to serve PRC by co-leading a life group and helping in the Children's Ministry. Greg is also a Sr. manager of Software Engineering at JP Morgan Chase.
