Children's Minister

Born and raised in Frisco, Texas, Ivy Adair is the oldest of four siblings and has always had a heart for investing in the next generation. Ivy Adair graduated from Legacy Christian Academy ('16) before earning her degree from Samford University ('20) in Birmingham, Alabama. Ivy Adair most recently spent six years teaching 3rd grade back at her alma mater, Legacy Christian Academy. While teaching, she loved helping students grow academically, but what brought the greatest joy was walking alongside them spiritually. 

Discipling children to know and love Jesus, understand God's Word and show Christ-like character has always been at the heart of the calling God has placed on Ivy Adair's life. 

Outside of ministry, Ivy Adair enjoys listening to music, getting lost in a good novel, relaxing with a color-by-number book, spending time with friends, and making memories alongside her husband, Corey and newborn baby boy, James.

Student Pastor

Zander has served as the Youth Pastor at Preston Ridge Church since August 2024. His passion is to see students know and love Jesus, grow in their faith, and become lifelong disciples who make disciples wherever God leads them. A driving vision for Zander’s ministry comes from 2 Timothy 2:2: investing in faithful people who will be able to teach and lead others. His desire is to build a student ministry where students are not simply consumers of ministry, but are equipped to lead, serve, disciple others, and carry their faith beyond their time in the student ministry.

Zander grew up in the small North Texas town of Gunter, Texas. After graduating from Gunter High School, he attended Kanakuk Link Year before serving with a college ministry in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He later returned to Kanakuk to serve as a Link Year Shepherd, where he had the opportunity to invest in and disciple college students.

Outside of ministry, Zander is a sports fanatic and lifelong Dallas Mavericks fan. He will rarely turn down a pickup basketball game and enjoys just about anything that involves competition, friends, and a good time.

Zander is engaged to his sweet fiancé, Sadie, who is from the Frisco area. Together, they are excited to build their life and make North Texas their long-term home.

Missions Minister

Jibin Mathew joined Preston Ridge Church in August 2025 as Mission Minister, driven by a passion for sharing the gospel both locally and globally. His ministry experience spans church planting and pastoral leadership in India and the USA. He holds a Bachelor’s in Theology, a Master’s in Psychology, and is currently pursuing a second Master’s at Dallas Theological Seminary.

Serving alongside his wife, Sherin, and their daughter Olivia, Jibin envisions the Church as a Spirit-led community that offers a foretaste of the Kingdom of God—pointing toward the day when Christ will fully establish His reign and people from every “ethnos” will worship Him together. He is deeply committed to the Great Commission, believing that every believer is called to actively engage in mission, making disciples, and extending the gospel to all nations.

The Mathews enjoy traveling, connecting with people, and savoring the richness of diverse cultures and cuisines.

Worship Minister & Technical Director

Nolan joined Preston Ridge as our worship leader in January of 2026. Nolan has served in worship ministry for over eleven years. After coming to faith in Christ at the age of eighteen, the Lord gave him a deep desire to proclaim the gospel through congregational singing—a calling that has shaped his life and ministry ever since.

Nolan studied Worship Leadership at Dallas Baptist University, where he met his wife, Alexis, who also shares his love for serving the local church through music. Together, they are passionate about seeing the church treasure Christ through worship that is rooted in God's Word.

Nolan is committed to leading the church in songs that exalt the glory of Christ, faithfully proclaim the truths of Scripture, and encourage the congregation to sing with both conviction and joy. He believes one of the greatest privileges of the Christian life is gathering with the bride of Christ each Lord's Day to declare the finished work of Jesus through biblically rich, gospel-centered worship.

Minister of Connections & Discipleship

Byron began serving as Connections and Discipleship Pastor at Preston Ridge in June 2026.  He brings 30 years of ministry experience, which includes 5 churches. Byron has served as a youth minister, a college and singles minister, and 16 of those years as a senior pastor.  Mission involvement is a priority as he led those churches to work in Mongolia, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Morocco, Germany, England, and Mexico.  Byron is a graduate of Hardin Simmons University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. 
Byron and his wife, Dalissa, have three children.  Dalissa is a teacher in the Frisco Independent School District. Cole is a young professional working in the health and nutrition industry. Chloe is a young professional working in the cosmetology industry. Conley is a student at Liberty High School.   As a family, they love the beach and the mountains. Experiencing life together is a priority for them and making memories is their joy!   Byron enjoys fishing, hunting, and playing the guitar.  The ocean is his favorite place to visit and where he feels the Glory of God and His mighty hand of creation.   

Byron considers it a great privilege to serve under Pastor Mark and alongside the other ministry staff of Preston Ridge. He looks forward to making much of Jesus at Preston Ridge and helping others take their next step with Jesus!
