Easter at preston Ridge church

We are so excited for Easter at Preston Ridge. Easter is a big deal for us as believers because it is the celebration of Jesus going to the cross for us, giving his life as a sacrifice for our sins, and rising from the grave on the third day. This act is literally the most important act in the history of the world. God sent his Son Jesus to earth to pay the penalty for our sins, allowing us to have a right relationship with God. None of this is possible without the cross and the empty tomb.

what to expect?

This will be a great day for you and your family as you experience Easter at Preston Ridge. It all starts at 9:30 am with our life groups for children, students and adults. We will also have some breakfast items in the cafe. Then, at 10:45 am we will have a worship service to celebrate Jesus and his resurrection. This will be a great time of worship, prayer, celebration and preaching from God's Word about the magnificent moment of Jesus' resurrection. After the service, we will have an Easter egg drop from a hot air balloon just outside the main entrance of the church (weather permitting).

Frequently asked questions

Where do I park?

We will have to parking lots available. There is one in the front of campus and another one in the back next to our playground. We ask that you respect designated parking spots for handicap visitors and senior adults.

What if it rains?

There are several weather conditions that factor into whether we are able to have the hot air balloon. There are some conditions that would allow us to blow up the balloon but not to raise it while some conditions would prohibit us from having it at all. Regardless of weather, we will make the afternoon full of family fun that you will not want to miss.

When should i arrive?

Whether you are joining us at 9:30AM for life groups or 10:45AM for worship, we recommend arriving several minutes early as Easter Sunday is always a busy and highly attended day. Arriving early will allow you to park, meet some other guests, and grab a cup of coffee before the service starts.
